Trim Levels
With chunky fender flares and an upright stance, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler comes in ten trims: Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sport Altitude, Sahara, Rubicon, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and Rubicon 392. The Wrangler Sport is comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The Rubicon 392 sits at the top of the lineup and has every feature that makes a well-rounded off-road beast. All the trims are four-wheel drive and are designed for off-road capability. The trims are also available in either two-door models or four-door models.
Engine
For the 2022 Jeep Wrangler, a 3.6-liter V6 engine which sumps up 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque comes as a standard. Connected to the engine is a six-speed manual transmission system that distributes power to the four wheels. Also available is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that offers 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The 2022 Wrangler adds a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine and a plug-in hybrid option to the engine lineup. At the top, the Rubicon 392 uses a powerful 6.4-liter V8 engine that gives 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Every Wrangler has a four-wheel-drive system, which is combined with solid engineering to deliver unrivaled off-road performance. Since the Wrangler is built purposely for traversing unbeaten paths, everything from steering to acceleration is tuned for scaling hills, wading water, and battling mud. The body-on-frame construction makes it easier for drivers to handle any terrain, while still staying on-pace in highways or on the street. Interior
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler strikes a fine balance between comfort and reliability. Entry-level trims feature durable plastics and quality cloth while the higher trims get leather upholstery and power-adjustable heated seats.
