The 2023 Jeep Cherokee is available in two trims: the Altitude Lux and Trailhawk. The Trailhawk adds skid plates, red tow hooks, and a distinctive hood decal. With that much power, you can use the Altitude Lux to tow up to 2,000 pounds. The Trailhawk comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This incredible output enables a 4,000-pound towing capacity. Both engines are exceptionally efficient, helping the Cherokee get up to 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
Performance
The 2023 Cherokee features a nine-speed automatic transmission that optimizes output and efficiency while delivering seamless gear shifts for smooth acceleration and straightforward handling. A four-wheel-drive system also comes standard, distributing torque across all four wheels for maximum traction and control on-road and off. No matter where you're going, a fine-tuned suspension makes your drive more comfortable. Safety Features
With the 2023 Jeep Cherokee, you get a full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, which can sense when a collision is imminent and provide additional braking support when necessary.
